Sunderland skipper Lee Cattermole will return to Wigan for the first time this weekend with huge respect for his former club.[LNB] The 22-year-old midfielder joined the Latics in a £3.5million move from home-town club Middlesbrough in July 2008 and prospered so much under Steve Bruce that the manager invested heavily in his services once again after his own departure for the Stadium of Light.[LNB]Cattermole told the club's official website: "I have not been back there yet, but Wigan was a great club for me.[LNB]"They were a great stepping stone in between Middlesbrough and here. Everyone at the club was brilliant, from the chairman down. Obviously the manager and the staff came here.[LNB]"I loved my time there and I have a lot to respect them for."[LNB]
