Cattermole in pledge to Cats fans
ee Cattermole has vowed to show Sunderland fans what he is capable of next season after an injury-plagued first campaign on Wearside.[LNB] The combative midfielder joined the Black Cats last summer from Wigan but suffered a serious knee injury against Liverpool in October and has subsequently been affected by a series of niggles.[LNB]Cattermole told the official club website: "It's been a frustrating season but I have learned a lot about myself and about my body.[LNB]"To be honest it's been totally different to what I'm used to. I just want to get this season out of the way because my form has been disappointing this year and I put that down to injuries.[LNB]"I'd go out to training thinking I was made of glass. I have never been injured in my career but hopefully it's all behind me now.[LNB]"I know I can be successful here. Hopefully I can get a good pre-season under my belt - I think I can show how good I really am."[LNB]
