Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole is a doubt for Saturday's Premier League clash with Burnley.[LNB] The 22-year-old damaged a calf in last weekend's 1-0 defeat at West Ham, the latest in a depressing catalogue of injuries which has interrupted his first season at the Stadium of Light.[LNB]Manager Steve Bruce will assess the former Middlesbrough and Wigan player before finalising his team, but will not risk him if he is not fully fit.[LNB]Bruce told the club's official website, www.safc.com: "Lee picked up a calf injury against West Ham and wasn't sure whether it was a kick or a strain.[LNB]"He hasn't trained all week. We will see how he is, but with the season nearly finished, the last thing I'm going to do is throw him in if he isn't ready."[LNB]However, John Mensah, who has missed the last three games with a hamstring problem, and skipper Lorik Cana, who has sat out the last two with a groin injury, could return after resuming training today.[LNB]
