Cats waiting for Reid injury news
Sunderland midfielder Andy Reid is set to see a specialist on Monday to determine the extent of an Achilles injury.[LNB] Reid, who missed much of the second half of last season through injury, will now fly out with his team-mates to their pre-season training camp on the Algarve on Monday.[LNB]However, he is expected to join the rest of the party in Portugal on Tuesday and is not viwed as a doubt for the start of the new season at this stage.[LNB]Reid's fellow midfielder Lee Cattermole was also being assessed on Monday after limping out of Saturday's friendly against Darlington with a groin strain.
