Cats starlet damages knee ligaments
Sunderland midfielder David Meyler is set to visit a specialist after a scan revealed he'd ruptured his knee ligaments.[LNB] The 20-year-old was stretchered off during the 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester United last Saturday.[LNB] Black Cats manager Steve Bruce said: "An initial scan has confirmed our medical team's first thoughts that David has ruptured ligaments in his right knee. He'll see a knee specialist this week when further plans will be confirmed."[LNB]
