Cats keen on Clyne

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is believed to be tracking Crystal Palace defender Nathaniel Clyne. The teenage full-back is reported to be attracting interest from a host of Premier League sides, with the Black Cats one of many to have been impressed by the youngster's development. Despite being just 18 years old, Clyne has already become a first-team regular at Selhurst Park. Eagles boss Neil Warnock is not surprised to see his talented starlet catching the eye after a number of assured displays, and he also expects top flight clubs to be in the market for young striker Victor Moses this summer. "There will be clubs sniffing round both Clyne and Victor, we have to put up with that," Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser. "If Sunderland aren't interested in Clyne then there's something wrong. "Whether Premier League clubs will put them in the first-team straight away is another question, but all clubs will be looking at young English players because of the new homegrown quota rules."
