Steve Bruce wants to keep loan stars Nedum Onuoha and Danny Welbeck after the pair played key roles in Sunderland's shock 3-0 win at Chelsea.[LNB] Onuoha, on loan from Manchester City, put the Black Cats on the way to victory over Chelsea with a stunning individual goal on the stroke of half-time in Sunday's Premier League clash in west London.[LNB]Asamoah Gyan added a second early in the second-half before man-of-the-match Welbeck, on loan from Manchester United, grabbed a third with three minutes left.[LNB]Bruce's side dominated the game and could have won by a bigger margin as Chelsea lost their first home game since last March and suffered their heaviest top flight defeat at Stamford Bridge since 2002.[LNB]Now Bruce hopes to open talks about signing the pair on a permanent basis when the season ends.[LNB]"Danny has produced very well and played well," said Bruce. "The sad thing for me is how much will it cost now to buy them?[LNB]"They're two loan players who have done fantastically well. They've got plenty of time. We'd love them to stay.[LNB]"We've got them for a year and we'll speak to the respective clubs nearer the time. They're exactly what we're looking for. They are young, energetic and desperate to play.[LNB]"But all round, the team produced a fantastic performance. I hope people talk about Sunderland rather than Chelsea's poor performance. Apart from the debacle against Newcastle a few weeks ago, we've been terrific."
