So O’Neill finally gets his man after the whole he’s coming, he’s not coming and then finally signing, Sunderland where firstly linked to him when he left Villa only for the media to say he wasn’t interested. Then apparently he was in talks with a couple of European clubs, but in the end Carlos himself said he wasn’t interested in any other club when he heard O’Neill wanted him after playing for his Aston Villa side way back when.
