Cana leaves Sunderland

Sunderland skipper Lorik Cana has left the club after just one season to join Turkish side Galatasaray.The 26-year-old Albania international, who joined the Black Cats in a £5million switch from Marseille last summer, has moved on after the club accepted an offer of in excess of 6million euros for him.Manager Steve Bruce said: "Lorik's style of play and attitude made him a natural choice as captain last season but when he came back for pre-season training it was apparent he had a desire to return to Europe."
