After a very unsuccessful second time around, playing for Sunderland George McCartney has gone back to West Ham…again.
The first time around on Wearside George was a decent player, even once won player of the season, but then decided to leave Sunderland for the bright lights of West Ham.
Returning to Sunderland again the Irishman was a shadow of him former self, after a few games all the rumours and whispers appeared of both injury problems and also stories of problems in his private life.
All resulted in George getting carted off out on loan to the club he had just been bought from, and again that is where he has finally ended up, quite frankly as a fan I am happy to see him leave the club.
