Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell will prove to be a good signing according to Black Cats manager Steve Bruce.
The 22-year-old £3.5million summer recruit from Manchester United has netted just once in 19 appearances this season, but Bruce still has faith in the England Under-21 international.
He told the Sunderland Echo: "He's young, he's hungry and he's aggressive, maybe too much at times, but I've always liked him.
He's someone who is desperate to do well and he's more than capable of scoring goals too.
"He has all the things I like in a player and it's that commitment that he has that I like more than anything else about him.
"He's a real, real worker and a tryer, but obviously he's got ability and we should not forget that that is key. Fraizer does have the quality, we just haven't seen enough of it.
"He's maybe one of those players who does just need a run (in the team). He's got quality and he's still young enough to improve."
