Sunderland manager Steve Bruce has welcomed the arrival of Marcos Angeleri after his passport problems were finally resolved.[LNB] The Argentine full-back finally flew out to Portugal on Friday to link up with his team-mates on their pre-season training camp.[LNB]The former Estudiantes stopper had been unable to take part so far because of delays in paperwork - specifically getting an Italian passport which will allow him to play in Europe.[LNB]However, those issues have now been resolved and Bruce is keen for the 27-year-old to begin training as soon as possible to help him adapt quickly to the rigours of English football.[LNB]"It's good news and it's great for him because he needs to work as soon as possible with us," Bruce told the Sunderland Echo.[LNB]"It has been a bit of a culture shock for him coming over and seeing what English football is all about but he is a top quality player and he will adjust.[LNB]"The reports we've had on him from Argentina were all outstanding and he is a player who will bring something extra to our squad."
