Bruce unhappy with Brady

Sunderland manager Steve Bruce says he found Karren Brady's weekend comments patronising. Bruce returned to Birmingham on Saturday, the club he left for Wigan in 2007 after becoming unsettled by Carson Yeung's initial takeover attempt. The Black Cats boss remains unhappy about the circumstances surrounding his Blues exit after six years at the helm at St Andrews. In the build-up to Saturday's Premier League clash, departing Blues managing director Brady lavished praise on Bruce during an interview, calling him: "a top bloke, excellent manager and great motivator." Bruce is unable to forget how his Birmingham tenure ended, although he is now looking forward and claims Tuesday's Carling Cup quarter-final clash with Aston Villa at the forefront of his agenda. Patronising"I found the whole thing very patronising, all these nicey-nicey comments to start with," he told Sky Sports News. "You respond afterwards. As far as I'm concerned I've said what I've said and that's the end of it. "I won't forget what happened at the final bit. All these nicey-nicey bits two years down the line don't wash with me anymore. "It's done. It's been said and let's look forward to Tuesday night which is far more important than all that tittle-tattle."
