Bruce seeks response

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has challenged his players to take out their derby-day frustration on Stoke. The Potters head for the Stadium of Light to face a Black Cats side still coming to terms with their 5-1 battering at Newcastle. Bruce said: "We have analysed it, we have picked the bones out of it and we have worked extremely hard again this week, morning and afternoon. We have been at it hammer and tongs. "They are as disappointed as everybody else is. Make no mistake, there is nothing quite like a humiliation like that to pull you back down to earth. "The vast majority of these young players I have brought here and I think they have got something about them - in fact I know they have - so it is important we make sure we try to respond in the right way."
