Sunderland manager Steve Bruce says his focus remains on teams above them in the Premier League table and not down into the relegation zone. The Wearsiders are 14th in the Premier League, just three points clear of the drop zone and have 12 games left. [LNB]But Bruce told BBC Newcastle: "Can we go and catch Fulham, Blackburn and Birmingham City? [LNB]"That's been my aim, rather than look over my shoulder, and that's the way I will continue to be." [LNB]Sunderland have not won in the league since a 1-0 victory over Arsenal in October, but have lost just twice at home this season and Bruce is calling on their fans to cheer them to victory against Fulham on Sunday.[LNB] [LNB][LNB] He said: "In a daft way, we could deal with a Liverpool or an Arsenal but I would appeal to the crowd, who were magnificent in the second half against Wigan, they can be the biggest weapon that we've got. [LNB]"Yes, we've got to give them something to shout about, and yes, we've got to show no nerves and yes, we can't be edgy and we need the crowd to come with us and play their part like we know that they can do. [LNB]"I'm sure they will realise that this is a hugely important game, and if we can go and win it, with three home games, our home form has been excellent. We need to continue that and win a couple of games, and I haven't given up hope."
