Sunderland have confirmed the signing of striker Stephane Sessegnon on a three-and-a-half-year deal from Paris St Germain. The 26-year-old Benin international moves to the Barclays Premier League club for a fee of around £6million. He will join Sulley Muntari at the Stadium of Light after the Ghana midfielder signed on loan from Inter Milan for the remainder of the season earlier in the day. Sessegnon told the club`s official website: "I am very happy and glad to be here. The transfer has been long and the execution has been tough but I am very happy. "I can't wait to start in the Premier League. It has been my dream for years. The Premier League is the best league to play in. I have always wanted to play here. "It is a great pleasure to be here and my wish is to give the maximum to Sunderland."
