Bruce happy with point
Sunderland boss Steve Bruce was pleased with his side's point in the 1-1 draw at Tottenham.
Rafael van der Vaart put Spurs ahead in the second half, but Asamoah Gyan added a second just three minutes later.
"We made hard work of it in the first half," Bruce said.
"Let's not take anything away from Tottenham, they're a very, very good team.
"The one thing we tried to do in the first half was stop their midfield dominance.
"To be fair, it didn't work, so we changed it second half."
