Sunderland manager Steve Bruce could not hide his disappointment after Anton Ferdinand's injury-time own goal cost his side a win at Manchester United.[LNB]Goals from Darren Bent and Kenwyne Jones sandwiched Dimitar Berbatov's special for United, who appeared set for a 2-1 defeat until Ferdinand's unfortunate contribution.[LNB]"It is totally disappointing," said Bruce. "I don't know what the stat is for the number of times Manchester United have done that but it is what makes this club what it is I suppose.[LNB]"It just proves you have to go down to the wire.[LNB]"Even when they don't play well, they always seem to get something out of it. And the Ayatollah (Sir Alex Ferguson) himself just sits there and watches.[LNB]"That is what he has brought to the club. They never give in."
