SUNDERLAND boss Steve Bruce will find himself pitched into a classic FA Cup tie after non-league Barrow booked a trip to the Stadium of Light.[LNB] The Conference Premier side are expected to bring 7,000 fans to Wearside for their third round clash with the Black Cats on January 2 following their 3-1 second-round replay victory over Oxford last night.[LNB] Bruce told the club's official website, www.safc.com: "It's what the Cup's all about.[LNB] "I'm hearing they will come here with 7,000 vocal fans, and we will have to be ready for it, that's for sure.[LNB] "The cup brings huge glamour. We will prepare thoroughly and will have to be at our best.[LNB] "Team-wise, I will see what shape the squad's in following the Christmas period, but I'm not expecting to tinker around too much.[LNB] "I'm not really one for that - we will be going out to win the game and the team will reflect that."[LNB] It will not be the first time Barrow have headed into battle with one of the North-East's big three - they took 7,000 supporters to Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium at the same stage of the competition last season and came away having lost 2-1.[LNB]
