Martin O’Neill: “I’ve said half seriously and half jokingly that if Stephane could [show] a real end product to his game in terms of goals or chances created for other people, he would be one heck of a player.
“I thought the game against West Brom went some way to confirming that.
“Not only did he score a goal, but he caused enough mayhem to generate clear-cut chances across the box upon which we tried to capitalise.
“That’s the sort of thing I’m looking for from him.”
