Boothroyd reveals O'Donovan interest
Colchester manager Aidy Boothroyd has admitted he is weighing up a summer swoop for Hartlepool's on-loan Sunderland striker Roy O'Donovan.[LNB] The 24-year-old hit two goals against the Us in their 3-1 defeat at Victoria Park last month and has now scored nine times in 14 games.[LNB]"Roy O'Donovan is a player I like," admitted Boothroyd. "I thought he did very well against us but he's just one of many I'm looking at."[LNB]O'Donovan will be out of contract at the Stadium of Light in the summer.[LNB]Hartlepool boss Chris Turner wants to keep him on a permanent deal while Southampton have also been linked.
