Bolo Zenden really is the daddy at Sunderland, says Steve Bruce

More than 70,000 internet hits in four days prove he dances like your dad. But then, Bolo Zenden is the father of Steve Bruce's Sunderland team. [LNB]'He's enjoying the role of playing alongside these young kids,' his manager said this week. [LNB]'He's exactly the type I wanted in the dressing room for them. [LNB] He's the daddy: Bruce has hailed veteran Dutch midfielder Zenden[LNB]'This week he stayed out training with Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson, and he's still better than them all at shooting.' [LNB]A former Holland, Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool and Marseille winger with more than 50 caps would be a welcome addition to any squad. [LNB]Although now 34, Zenden is justifying his decision to stick around on Wearside after struggling to make an impact last season following injury. [LNB]His volley against Tottenham was a reminder of the impact he can make, and this week's assist against Everton was proof he has more than sheer presence with which to influence team-mates. [LNB]He said: 'I don't see retirement being anywhere near. I'm fit and I am feeling fit. [LNB]'I don't drink, I don't smoke. I have always taken care of myself and I have been lucky with injuries. Your body is your tool, so why destroy it? [LNB] Carrying on: Zenden has no plans to retire just yet[LNB]'The younger players are old enough to make their own mistakes and learn from them. Jordan doesn't drink and he has gone all the way up to the England squad. If you look at the Tottenham stats, I was up there with Jordan. We covered the most ground.' [LNB]But does that excuse the Stamford Bridge boogie with Asamoah Gyan which has attracted worldwide attention. Sadly, there is more to come. [LNB]'Don't worry, I know it is an internet phenomenon,' he said. [LNB]'The dance was meant to be funny. I joined in with an African dance and I was laughing as well. [LNB]'It's been fun, and it will return but it might be a different dance because I have got so many moves.'[LNB]  Sunderland rocked by double blow over crocked Bramble and TurnerWelbeck facing a dilemma as Bruce bids to sign him on permanent dealSunderland boss Bruce plans fresh move for Tottenham misfit BentleySUNDERLAND FC
