Blues set for Bruce reunion
Alex McLeish's side face a tough away tie in the Carling Cup third round having been drawn against top-flight rivals Sunderland.
Blues faced a scare at St Mary's in the last round having come from behind to see off Southampton, and their reward is a trip to the Stadium of Light to face former boss Steve Bruce and his Black Cats side.
The tie will be played the week commencing September 21.
