Blackwell: Nosworthy is out of reach

Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell has ruled out the prospect of bringing in Sunderland defender Nyron Nosworthy for another loan spell.

Nosworthy played 19 games for the Blades last season before returning to the Stadium of Light.

"At this moment in time the finance will be too great for us to do a deal," said Blackwell.

"There is no doubt that Nyron was well respected during his time here, not just by the players and the staff, but also by the fans, which is important.

"It would have been a big signing if we could have done it but at this moment he is probably out of our reach."
