Black Cats handed Villa tie

Sunderland have been handed a Carling Cup fourth-round tie against Aston Villa at The Stadium of Light. Steve Bruce's men, who were runners up in 1985, breezed past Birmingham in the third round at the Stadium of Light, with Jordan Henderson and Frazier Campbell sealing a 2-0. The match will be played in the week commencing October 26.
