Black Cats to face Burnley
SUNDERLAND have announced their second pre-season friendly date by revealing they will travel across the Pennines to face Championship side Burnley at 3pm on Saturday July 30.[LNB] The fixture will be the first between the clubs since the Clarets were relegated from the top-flight at the end of the 2009/10 campaign, with Eddie Howe's side narrowly missing out on a play-off place last season as they pursued an instant return.[LNB] Sunderland confirmed yesterday that they will play York on July 13 and they are expected to announce a two-game trip to the continent in the gap between.[LNB]
