Black Cats could make loan moves

Sunderland strikers David Healy and Daryl Murphy could leave the club on loan. The duo have found themselves surplus to requirement at the Stadium of Light since the summers arrivals of Darren Bent and Fraizer Campbell. Murphy was linked with Ipswich during the summer, while Healy held talks with Coventry and was reportedly a target for Newcastle and Middlesbrough. Manager Steve Bruce has revealed there have been enquiries about both players, with Football League clubs allowed to make loan signings from Wednesday. He told the Sunderland Echo: "There's been some interest in those two players from Championship sides, so we will have to see what happens. "But they are the ones most likely to be leaving. There's no doubt that they need to be playing games, and it's very difficult for them to get that at Sunderland right now."
