Bent set for Sunderland return

Sunderland striker Darren Bent is expected to return to training on Wednesday following a hamstring injury.[LNB] The 26-year-old could force his way into contention for the Black Cats Premier League home game against Everton on Monday night.[LNB]Bent was forced to miss victories against Stoke and Chelsea and the draw with Spurs due to the injury.[LNB]However, the news will prove to be a major boost for manager Steve Bruce who has relied on the club's record signing Asamoah Gyan for goals in his absence.[LNB]The former Tottenham forward revealed on social networking website Twitter: "First training session back today. Can't wait - am buzzing."
