Loan striker Bendtner could follow co Arsenal team mate Arshavin into Russia as he looks to find himself a new club.
The striker has been less than average playing on Wearside since joining on a season long loan, its highly unlike boss Martin O’Neill will be looking to extend the deal any further.
Bendtner said, "There are a lot of very strong players going to Russia, players who previously wouldn't have done so,"
"I'm on loan at the moment but I'll look at all my options when the time comes. In football, you can never say never."
"They play great football ... they have a lot of good players, even if a lot of the ones that play in the league aren't that well-known in Europe.”
