Phil Bardsley has labelled Sunderland's performance in their 3-0 defeat at rock bottom West Brom as a 'shambles'.[LNB] The Black Cats began poorly and it did not get much better as the game wore on as the Baggies took a massive leap towards safety.[LNB]Goals from Jonas Olsson, Chris Brunt and Juan Carlos Mensequez sealed Sunderland's fate to send them dangerously close the drop zone.[LNB]Ricky Sbragia's men are now four points from safety with just one win in nine and Bardsley knows that performances need to improve if they are to survive.[LNB]"It was a total shambles from start to finish," the defender told the Daily Star.[LNB]"If we're going to survive we need to do better than that.[LNB]"We let everyone down - the manager, the staff, the fans and it's up to us to put that right."[LNB]
