Denied: Sullivan keeps out Villa's Curtis Davies DL - Herita Ilunga (West Ham) A powerful eye-catching performance as he helped his side to a clean sheet in their 2-0 win over Hartlepool. DR - Pascal Chimbonda (Sunderland) He cleared off the line and put on a good all-round performance in what turned out to be his final game for Sunderland before returning to Spurs. DC - Joleon Lescott (Everton) A goal and a rock-solid defensive performance will have impressed the watching England manager Fabio Capello. ML - Martin Woods (Doncaster Rovers) He was a constant threat was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet after he hit the woodwork twice against Villa. MR - Nathan Dyer (Swansea City) His pace and direct running was a constant threat and he capped off a superb display with a fine goal against Portsmouth. MC - Graham Alexander (Burnley) Put the seal on a solid performance by converting a penalty for Burnley's first goal  in the draw at West Brom. MC - Michael Ballack (Chelsea) The German playmaker scored two goals including a perfectly placed free-kick in Chelsea's 3-1 win over Ipswich. ST - Jason Scotland (Swansea City) He doubled Swansea's lead with a penalty and was a constant threat to the Pompey defence. Manager - Roberto Martinez (Swansea City) His side dumped the Cup holders out of the competition following a terrific display.
