Ba own goal halts 10-man Toon
Demba Ba's own goal four minutes from time handed Sunderland a 1-1 draw against 10-man Newcastle in Sunday's Wear-Tyne derby.
Ba's near-post shot was saved by Simon Mignolet but it fell nicely for Cabaye (3) who drilled expertly into the far corner to give the visitors the opening goal at the Stadium of Light.
Newcastle had Cheick Tiote controversially sent-off on 24 minutes after a tackle on Steven Fletcher and they had to wait until 86 minutes for John O'Shea's header from Seb Larsson's free-kick to fly in off the head of the unfortunate Ba to make it 1-1.
