Lehmann escapes punishment

Veteran goalkeeper Jens Lehmann will not be suspended despite aiming a kick at Roda Antar during Stuttgart's weekend defeat against Koln.

The 38-year-old former Arsenal shot-stopper will now be available for Stuttgart's Bundesliga encounter at Eintracht Frankfurt.

The German Football Federation were studying videos of the incident to see if they needed to take disciplinary action as they believed referee Thorsten Kinhofer did not see the incident.

However, the match official's post-match report revealed that he did see the kick but decided to take no action against Lehmann.
