Babbel sees the positives

VfB Stuttgart head coach Markus Babbel was trying to take the positives from a 1-1 home draw with rock-bottom Hertha Berlin.

Babbel's side needed a Zdravko Kuzmanovic goal eight minutes from time to rescue a point, with Stuttgart themselves still in trouble near the wrong end of the Bundesliga table.

Babbel told the club's official website: "We made a good start, put the visitors under pressure early on and created a number of openings. That all looked very different in the second half.

"We didn't begin well and quickly conceded the first goal. After going behind, we needed a long time to find our way back into the game.

"Once we then equalised the whole team took a lift and we managed to create further very good chances.

"We need to continue working on our finishing, but the team is intact."
