Aitken boost for Stranraer
Stranraer host Stirling Albion and Chris Aitken has been passed fit to face one of his former clubs after three weeks out with a thigh injury.
Striker Jamie Longworth has got over the knock that saw him substituted early in last weekend's 3-3 draw with Airdrie but Steven Stirling is a doubt after picking up a knock in training.
Long-term injury absentees Steven Bell (ankle) and Scott Robertson (knee) remain out, with manager Stephen Aitken saying: "We only played in patches last Saturday and need a more consistent performance.
"If we want to be a top-half team we need to be winning our home games."
Stirling Albion miss the injured Craig Comrie (stomach) and Phil Johnston (hamstring) while Graham Weir is a major doubt with a neck problem.
Sandy Cunningham has given manager Greig McDonald a selection problem of the right kind after coming off the bench and scoring twice as Albion fought back to get a draw with Forfar.
McDonald said: "Sandy did everything he was asked to do last week and more. He has given me a real dilemma for this game.
"It was great to come back and get a point last weekend and that sets us up nicely to go for three against a Stranraer side that have a lot of firepower."
