Stirling bonus lifts Aitken
Stranraer will add Stephen Stirling to their squad for the visit of Arbroath, but will be without injured pair Chris Aitken and Marc Corcoran.
Stirling missed out against Inverness last weekend as he was cup-tied, while Aitken (ankle) and Corcoran (hip) are still struggling with their respective problems.
Manager Stephen Aitken not thinking about his side's Scottish Cup replay against Inverness on Tuesday.
Aitken said: "All my concentration has been on beating Arbroath as it is time for us to start winning in the league again.
"The Scottish Cup is a bonus, but we face very dangerous opponents in an Arbroath side that will be fighting for everything as they look to avoid relegation trouble."
Striker Kenny Deuchar has stepped out of retirement after nearly two years to help Arbroath in their relegation fight and is included in the squad.
Recent goalkeeper signing Sandy Wood is in line for his debut as Scott Morrison is struggling with a knock.
Michael Travis returns to contention following suspension, but Alan Cook is banned.
Player/manager Paul Sheerin said: "It's not really a gamble with Kenny as he has scored goals wherever he has been and has kept himself really fit.
"We need goals to win games and hopefully he can help us do that."
