Stranraer move six clear with win
Stranraer moved six points clear at the top of League One with a 4-2 win at home to Forfar.
The home side came close to opening the scoring in the third minute when Sean Winter fired a shot against a post.
It took until the 34th minute for the deadlock to be broken as Willie Gibson played in Craig Malcom and he fired Stranraer in front with a well-placed shot into the bottom corner.
They looked comfortable when Steven Bell's cool finish made it 2-0, but Forfar were back in it early in the second half when Dale Hilson fired home.
Stranraer striker Jamie Longworth missed a good chance and Bell was denied by the goalkeeper before they did make the game safe with a scrambled third through Craig Malcolm.
Gavin Malin pulled one back in injury time after good work from Chris Templeman, but there was still time for Jackson Longridge to cap a fine afternoon with a fourth from Jon McShane's pass.
