Rumbsy howler boosts Airdrie
A late Scott Rumsby own-goal gave Airdrie a late 1-1 draw at third-placed Stranraer.
The home side were quickly in their stride and Grant Gallagher fired wide in the first three minutes before Jamie Longworth forced Grant Adam into a save.
Scott Stewart fired over for the away side just before half-time for Stranraer, who found themselves behind five minutes after the restart.
Mark Docherty's pass found Longworth who drilled emphatically past Adam for his 14th league goal of the season.
Airdrie had Adam to thank for keeping the deficit to one as he repelled Sean Winter's effort, and that save proved crucial as Rumsby's blunder two minutes from time keeps them one point clear of the bottom two.
