Peterhead scored a late goal to secure victory and continue their promotion push at Stranraer's expense.It took until the 79th minute before striker Martin Bavidge slotted the ball home after substitute Craig Gunn's shot was parried.Both sides had chances in the first half with Peterhead's Neil McVitie and Stranraer's Paul McGrath coming close.The home side spurned a number of openings after the break but held on to secure victory at Balmoor Stadium.Peterhead: Jarvie, Donald, Smith, Mann, MacDonald, McVitie, Sharp, Anderson, Moore (Kozminski 64), McKay (Gunn 64), Bavidge.
