Clyde 4-2 Stranraer: Report

26 February 2011 19:09
Clyde shock high-flying Blues Scotland's bottom side Clyde showed remarkable character as they beat Stranraer 4-2 at Broadwood. The Bully Wee were behind after just six minutes when Craig Malcolm fired home his 18th goal of the season from close range. They hit back quickly, though, restoring parity five minutes later through Marc McCusker's cool finish. Picking up where they left off, Clyde showed plenty of endeavour after the interval and took the lead in the 55th minute when McCusker netted from the spot after John Stewart was fouled by Paul Murphy, who was sent off for the challenge. Despite the disadvantage, Armand One was on hand to level things up for Stranraer, heading home Angus Cochrane's cross. The end-to-end nature of the game continued and the Bully Wee took the lead in the 67th minute when Patrick Scuillion fired home before Richard Waddell's header wrapped up the points.
