Neill strike earns draw

John Neill's fourth goal of the season earned Clyde a point in a 1-1 home draw against promotion-chasing Stranraer.

The visitors came into the game on the back of three straight league victories and looked likely to extend their good run when they went ahead through Martin Grehan's header after 18 minutes, the Partick loanee converting Stephen Stirling's corner.

Jim Duffy's side were back on level terms 10 minutes later when Neill swept home John Sweeney's right-wing cross.

Sean Winter and Frank McKeown both spurned good second-half opportunities for Stranraer before Sweeney almost earned the Bully Wee all three points with a right-footed free-kick on the hour mark which drew a great save from visiting goalkeeper Ryan Marshall.
