Arbroath labour to draw Scottish Division Three leaders Arbroath struggled to a 2-2 draw against Stranraer at Gayfield Park. The teams played out a largely uneventful first half where neither keeper was seriously troubled and the deadlock continued until midway through the second period when the match came alive. Arbroath took the lead with an element of good fortune as substitute Lee Sabinda`s cross was turned into his own net by Declan Gallagher. Five minutes later, the scores were level as Scott Agnew`s free-kick across goal found the bottom corner. The Smokies were then reduced 10 men, with goalkeeper Darren Hill seeing red for a deliberate handball outside of his area. Moments later, the visitors scored again, this time substitute Armand One firing in from distance. Despite being a man down, Paul Sheerin`s side pressed for the equaliser which came with less than 10 minutes to go, Gavin Swankie claiming his 20th league goal of the season from just inside the area.
