Tuncay Sanli has threatened to quit Stoke City if he fails to break into the starting line-up.
The Turkey international has made just two substitute appearances for the Potters in the Premier League this season and is unhappy at his lack of game time.
The 28-year-old former Middlesbrough forward has now challenged manager Tony Pulis to play him or let him leave the Britannia Stadium in January.
"I will stay to January and try to get myself into the team," he told the Daily Mirror.
"But if I cannot, then I will ask the club to let me go.
"I have to think about my career and about Turkey."
Tuncay joined Stoke on a four-year contract from Middlesbrough in August 2009 but started just 13 league games during his first season in the Potteries.
