Stoke v West Ham: Potters hoping to do the double over Big Sam's side

Stoke City host West Ham at The Britannia Stadium tomorrow afternoon, with The Potters hoping to do the double over Big Sam's side.

West Ham have been on a great run as of late with The Hammers picking up maximum points from their last four games leading to Sam Allardyce picking up the manager of the month award for February.

The London based side could all but secure Premier League football next season with a win in The Potteries, but they will be up against a Stoke side who have already overcome Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal at Fortress Britannia this season.

Team News

Stoke City will be without the suspended duo of Charlie Adam and Jon Walters tomorrow, and so may call upon on-loan Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi who is ready to return to action, but Mark Hughes confirmed that Robert Huth is set to be out for the rest of the season.

West Ham have no new injury concerns, as well as having Andy Carroll set for a return, but Marco Borriello is still sidelined with a calf injury and Joey O'Brien remains a long term absentee.

Antonio Nocerino is set to make his first Hammers start tomorrow with Pablo Armero still yet to feature after his switch in January.

Stats

West Ham have conceded just one goal and kept three clean sheets in their last four Premier League away outings

However, in the season’s corresponding fixture, the Hammers didn’t manage a single shot on target

Only five teams have picked up more points at home than Stoke this season

Stoke have lost just one of their last 11 at home

The visitors have lost just one of their four games at the Britannia Stadium

Prediction

Jon Walters is a huge miss for Stoke, he holds the ball up and creates chances all over the field as well as running his legs off all game, but Stoke are different at The Britannia Stadium and it's hard to see West Ham walking out with a win.

Stoke City 2-0 West Ham
