Stoke told they face battle with Italian and Spanish clubs for Sebastian Larsson

Will he stay or will he go? Birmingham's Sebastian Larsson Sebastian Larsson's agent has warned Stoke they face competition from Italian and Spanish clubs if they make a move for the midfielder in January. The Potters are planning a move for the 25-year-old if they fail to tie down Jermaine Pennant on a permanent contract. Real Zaragoza are asking for £6million for Pennant, and if Stoke are unwilling to pay they may turn to Larsson, who is out of contract at Birmingham in the summer. Larsson's agent, Per Jonsson, said: 'Seb likes to be in England, but Spain and Italy are good countries tobe in and I know clubs there have been watching him. 'I know they have followed him this season and liked what they have seen. 'There are a lot of clubs that like him, but we have not discussedanything with other clubs. I really don't know what will happen inJanuary.' Jonsson also revealed the midfielder had not given up hope of negotiating a new deal to stay with the Blues. He added: 'Birmingham have had the chance for a long time to leave an offer. They have left something, but it is not good enough.'  Stoke boss Pulis planning to end Bridge's misery at Manchester CityStoke enter race to sign Keane and line up £2m swoop for LarssonSTOKE CITY FC
