Sorensen should be fit for Villa clash

Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen is confident of being fit for Monday's Barclays Premier League clash with his former club Aston Villa.The Denmark international missed his country's 1-0 win over Iceland on Tuesday after an elbow problem flared up.The 34-year-old injured the joint in the first match of the season against Wolves and then picked up an infection.Sorensen will undergo a scan on Thursday but is hopeful a course of antibiotics will clear up the problem, which is in the other elbow to the one he dislocated last season.
