Pulis targets play-off push

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has urged his side to remain positive and stage a late charge for a play-off place. The Potters returned to winning ways for the first time in three games with a 4-2 win over Leicester City last weekend to move up to ninth place in the Championship table. Now Pulis has called for another victory at fellow promotion-hopefuls West Brom on Saturday to further consolidate their position on the fringes of the play-off places. "We're putting ourselves back on the map with the likes of West Brom and Derby," he told the club's official website. "If we could beat West Brom on Saturday we've still got a great chance of being in the play-offs, so I hope the supporters turn out in force and get behind the team. "If you catch them on a good day, West Brom will comfortably beat anybody in this league, so we're just hoping that we don't catch them on that day!"
