Pulis hails City achievement
Stoke boss Tony Pulis paid tribute to everyone at the club after his side ended the Barclays Premier League campaign with a 12th place finish. A 4-1 defeat at Arsenal on the final day failed to dampen the spirit in the City camp too much after the Potters proved the pundits wrong by securing another crack at the top flight. "To achieve what we have done is pretty remarkable," he said. "Everyone has to take a lot of credit, from staff and supporters through to the chairman, who has given us the chance to bring people in at the right time. "Everybody told me it was so difficult to stay in the Premier League, now I have got 'second-season syndrome' to worry about. "We will have to make changes for us to push on, and one or two will have to move on."
