Pulis fumes at latest leak
28 Apr 2010 - 16:06:20
Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is unhappy to have been forced to read reports of another alleged dressing room bust-up.
It has been said that captain Abdoulaye Faye and midfielder Glenn Whelan clashed at half-time as the Potters slumped to an embarrassing 7-0 defeat at Chelsea on Sunday.
"I maintain that what happens in the dressing room stays in the dressing room," Pulis told City's official website.
"Glenn Whelan and Abdoulaye Faye are disappointed that again the confines of our sanctuary have been breached.
"The lads have also expressed their own disappointment, but understand that there are obviously one or two people who, for their own reasons, feel it necessary to leak out this information.
"Irrespective of these individuals, we are desperate to get back on the pitch and put in a performance that truly shows our achievements this season in the right light."
In December it was claimed that Pulis was involved in an angry confrontation with striker James Beattie after the 2-0 defeat by Arsenal.
The incident led to the Potters conducting an internal investigation but no disciplinary action was taken.
