Pulis expects Sorensen to stay
05 Jan 2010 - 08:23:59
Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has rubbished suggestions that goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen is unsettled at the Britannia Stadium.
Sorensen, 33, was quoted in the Danish media earlier in the week claiming that a leading European club were interested in acquiring his services this month.
However, Pulis has dismissed reports that the experienced former Sunderland and Aston Villa keeper could be on his way out of the club during the transfer window.
He said: "Thomas trained yesterday and trained today and he hasn't said anything to me.
"You can't stop speculation but Thomas is under contract. If anybody wanted to sign Thomas they would have to speak to the football club."
Meanwhile, Pulis has described reports of a move for out-of-favour Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy as pure speculation.
